The meeting touched on informing the Qatari private sector on the available co-operation opportunities, investment opportunities in the South American country as well as products that can be exported to Qatar.

“This meeting (will be) a start of a new phase for co-operation between both sides, especially in light of the interest of Qatari businessmen to explore the investment opportunities abroad in line with the state’s economic diversification strategy,” al-Kuwari said.

Highlighting various opportunities for international investors; Hallaq called on Qatar Inc to explore these opportunities and participate in implementing projects.

The meeting stressed on the need to cement co-operation between the chambers of both the countries in a manner that brings together the private sector and companies of both sides and to identify opportunities for co-operation in all areas.
