Virtual Forum on Agriculture Trade – Measures to Increase Intra and Extra Regional Trade for Guyana

Foreign Secretary Robert Persaud today stated that Guyana is on the path to realizing its potential as the regional breadbasket. The Foreign Secretary at the time was speaking at the virtual forum hosted by the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) on Measures to Increase Intra and Extra Regional Trade.

During his presentation, the Foreign Secretary emphasized the role of trade as it relates to the focus on creating a new regional agriculture trade regime.
