President Dr Irfaan Ali delivered a strong address to the Protocolary Meeting of the Permanent Council of the Organisation of American States (OAS) in Washington, DC.
The President spoke on a range of issues including democracy, the rule of law, and Guyana’s global leadership on key issues such as climate, energy and food security.
Before the meeting, the President held brief discussions with the Secretary General of the OAS, Luis Almagro and an executive team.
