Press Release: Guyana and Andorra Formally establish Diplomatic Relations
PRESS RELEASE
On 21 September 2026, the Co-operative Republic of Guyana and the Principality of Andorra established diplomatic relations with the signing of a Joint Communiqué at the Permanent Mission of Guyana to the United Nations, New York.
The Joint Communiqué was signed by His Excellency Hugh Hilton Todd, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana and Her Excellency Imma Tor Faus, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Principality of Andorra.
The two sides have agreed to join efforts to develop bonds of friendship and cooperation in areas of mutual interest between their countries and peoples.
