The Honourable Minister Hugh Todd, engaged in a teleconference with Ambassador Victoria Nuland

Minister Todd assesed impact of flooding in areas in region 10 and provided relief supplies

President Dr. Irfaan Ali has concluded his flood assessment exercise in Region Five (Mahaica-Berbice) and Region Six (East Berbice-Corentyne).

Members of Cabinet have fanned out across the country as we continue to provide the necessary support for those affected by the floods.

His Excellency Dr Irfaan Ali visited Mahaicony Creek, Region Five, to assess flooding in the area after heavy and persistent rainfall.

The Honourable Hugh Todd, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation earlier today participated in the 26th Ordinary Meeting of the Ministerial Council of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS).

The Golden Arrowhead was hoisted this evening as the Nation prepares to usher in its 55th Independence Anniversary.

The Honourable Hugh Todd, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation virtually attended the International Dialogue on Migration (IDM) on the theme, “Accelerating integrated action on sustainable development: migration, the environment and climate change” hosted by the International Organisation for Migration(IOM).

H.E. Dr. Irfaan Ali was today presented with a portrait from Guyanese artist, Mr Compton Babb Jr.
