Vice President, Dr. Bharrat Jagdeo met His Excellency Chandrikapersad Santokhi, President of the Republic of Suriname; His Excellency Ambassador Albert Ramdin, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Business and International Cooperation and His Excellency Silvano Tjoong-Ahin, Minister of Spatial Planning & Environment at the Presidential Palace in Suriname.
The Vice President is currently on a three-day working visit to the neighbouring country.
Also present at the meeting were Minister of Natural Resources, Vickram Bharrat, and Guyana’s Ambassador to Suriname, Keith George.
